ARIAM will give its Members a meaningful and compelling voice in the decisions that define how innovation and creativity will coexist.

Policy doesn’t just mean government advocacy – It means making sure the people writing the rules understand how content businesses actually work, how they are innovative, and what they need to thrive. ARIAM monitors emerging legislation, regulatory proposals/consultations, voluntary codes, government debates, technical standards, and industry frameworks across jurisdictions. It then translates complex Member concerns into clear, credible, well articulated positions.

We brief lawmakers and regulators, engage experts on child safety and intellectual property, submit comments and responses, and bring real examples from across the content industries into the policy process. Our aim is simple: to ensure that decisions affecting AI aren’t made without the people who create, distribute, and protect the world’s content.

Policy is also about collective leverage. No individual company — no matter how large — can shift the AI landscape on its own. ARIAM brings Members together to identify shared priorities, build aligned positions, and present a united front to policymakers, standards bodies, consumer groups, and consumers themselves.

By speaking as a coordinated content industry rather than as isolated companies, Members amplify their own voices, gain influence and credibility, and access to conversations that shape the rules of the road.
